Week One
BRAIN DUMP
Week one was always bound to feel overwhelming and daunting - and that it has been. I think the information overload will just time some time to digest. However, reflecting and taking the time this weekend before beginning week two has already made me feel calmer and like I can do it. Before next week begins, I will have finished my rough project timeline and broken down each of the design processes that I proposed in my research proposal week by week.
My mind works best with lists and breaking things down. I don't do so well with last minute either. In this way, I am going to do my very best to attack my capstone in this style - as this is how I feel like I am able to achieve the strongest work ethic.
I know that the hardest part is always starting. So I guess, the best thing to do now is simply, to start.
Next class I want to make sure I have a better understanding of whether I should:
Expand my focus from endometriosis to all menstruators
Get feedback on how I have chosen to lay out the design processes
Drafted timeline format so far. I now need to add a way to show the status/completion of the subtasks.
How I have decided to visually map out my Design For Equity Framework. This is subject to change once I get feedback from my tutorss.
This is the section of my Miro for 301 which contains; weekly to-do lists, weekly brain dump as well as work that I completed each week (that does not go directly into my Design for Equity framework.
